Cornmeal Buttermilk Biscuits with Jalapeño Cheddar Butter

To say these came out well may be pushing it. Found the recipe on another blog that slips my mind currently but thought it sounded like a good idea. They taste ok but not great, however, the butter is pretty darn good and would be good on bread, corn bread or other savory items.

1 stick butter (real butter, no subs) soft
1 jalapeño, roasted, seeded, and diced
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Mix all ingredients and either chill or serve as is.
